President's MessageHappy New Year 2008 looks like it will be a incredible year. Thanks to Eunice Jones our 2007 President and the great team she put together we will receive the GOLD award from WCR National. First time ever, we got silver last year. Our membership grew and is now 81% Realtors. Our super WCR team is up and running with our whole years programs and dates in place. We are so excited that we can bring you quality programs, with a lot of fun mixed in and great Networking. Most our programs will be at the Realtor Campus this year. Our theme is "A NEW MARKET, A NEW ME".
The Charity we have chosen is the Children's Service Society. They believe and the WCR team believe every child deserves to be safe, loved, and to have a family. We also will make a donation to Best Friends Animals Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. For those that know me , I show West Hightland White Terrier's (Westie's). Dad Charlie and Mom Christie had 5 healthy puppies August 29th. We kept 2 girls Chelsea and Casey, there 1st show is scheduled in April, at Sacramento, Ca. WCR Salt Lake Chapter wants to take home the Gold again this year and want your support and encourage to join us and get involved. They are many opportunities to serve, if on one of our programs or event like our golf tournament, wine and cheese social, holiday social. Message from the Outgoing President - Eunice Jones
Dear WCR Members,
Thank you so very much for the unforgettable experience and enjoyable ride with WCR Salt Lake City Chapter. I am grateful to each and everyone of you who made 2007 the best year ever. Looking back, and assessing all the things that we have accomplished, we did it, team! We reached our goal, we grew our membership, we increased the attendance of our monthly business luncheons, we created a strategy for better communication, we launched our chapter website, we sent monthly invites followed by flyer mass email, we started our newsletter, we encouraged members to get involved, we improved the registration by having credit card payments and most of all, we had fun.
I will cherish the friendships we made and continue to support WCR. Thanks for your support and hard work. Best wishes to the continued
success of the WCR Salt Lake City Chapter.
