Diana Mouser First American Title
Place of Birth- City, State: Born in Salt Lake
Schooling- Graduated from South High School. Attended the University of Utah
# Brother and sisters- Two sisters and one brother. My Brother is also in the Title business.
Number of children- Two biological children. My daughter Elery is 18. My son Carson is 14. My kids are my life and I absolutely love having teenagers. My house is where all the kids hang out. I wouldn’t want it any other way. I have a foster daughter. Erika is 22, we “got” her when she was 11. she has a little 2 year old boy named Gabe,, so now im a grandma or as Gabe says “Bamma”
Information on Husband - Been married for 20 years this August. My husband was a inertial navigation engineer for 26 years is now is retired.
Prior profession for you- When I was 19ish and attending the U,, I worked for Surety Title as a runner. After doing that for a few years, I went to work for Mountain States Mortgage. This was in the early to mid 80’s when the refi market went crazy overnight. I worked as JR Bills assistant for several years and then got my Real Estate License. I got married in 1988 and sold Real Estate mostly in the Bountiful area while I raised my cute kids. My business grew to a point where I was working more than I wanted to,, so I put my license on the in active status and was a full time mom.
After both kids were in school full time,, I went to work for KJZZ TV as Marketing and Promotions assistant. After about 3 years I became the Sports Coordinator for the University of Utah basketball and football programs. This was the funnest job I’ve ever had. I am a huge sports fan so this was just perfect.
Career- My husband became disabled in 2003 and I knew it would be impossible to pay the bills with my “fun job”. I knew getting back into the Real Estate business was my best option. I started with The Talon Group, a division of First American Title, in March of 2005 as a marketing/sales rep. The Talon Group merged back into First American in May of 2007. First American has been a huge blessing for me. It s a great company to be a part of and it does pay the bills. I really love what I do, my kids think all I do is I hang out with my friends, Golf and go to lunch everyday. Wow,,, that is what I do…J Most of my friends, my new ones and my lifelong ones are in this business. So I really do have the privilege of associating or hanging out with my friends everyday.
WCR- I joined WCR the week I started with the Talon Group back in 2005. I knew from past experience that this was the group I need to be involved with to network my new business. What I found was just that,, great networking, but also many friendships. WCR has been great for my business.
Hobbies- I love college football and NBA basketball. I love golf but suck at it,, I love to cook. I love to travel. I love the sun. I really love Christmas. It sounds so cliché,, but I guess the thing I love the most is being a mom and being amazed everyday by my amazing kids.
Involvement in other organizations-
I have been involved with the Salt Lake Board of Realtors Kidsfest committee also since 2005. All the proceeds we raise each year go directly to The Christmas Box House. This is a charity I am passionate about. I am this years co-chair.
I have been newly appointed to the Affiliates Advisory Board.
